[ale] Google in Suwanee?

I went in and I explicitly told them I did not care what the rate was,
and they still said they did not want me. They seemed more worried
about me leaving the company later on then staying because most
of my recent experience and my hobby was elsewhere in the industry.
I told them I am very reliable (I stayed with the last 2 companies until
they went into the ground) but they did not believe me I guess.

It was kinda frustrating because they interviewed me 3 times, twice
on the phone and once in person for about 2-3 hrs, and the answer
was still no... Isn't that the point of doing the phone screening anyway?
To say no before you have to waste the time of the interviewer and the
interviewee? They asked the exact same questions all 3 times...

Any idea what "slave-laborers" wage is in this case?

Just curious as Suwanee is to far of a commute. I would love to work for
Google, and since I fall in that narrow category of "just enough, but not
*too* much experience" might have a lower expectation than others on the
list.
