George makes an excellent point here.  The spammers spend their money to 
work on this problem because it is their livelyhood.  The rest of the 
world is spending their money and time on their livelyhood, and trying 
to stay ahead of the spammers is taking away from that livelyhood.

So Drew, you want to fix this problem, pay someone to do it.
