Oh, yeah. You wanted book suggestions. Well the "Red Dragon Book" is
the standard college text. You'll find out all you ever wanted to know
about DFAs and NFAs. See "Compilers Principles, Techniques, and Tools"
by Aho, Sethi, and Ullman. ISBN 0-201-10088-6. The copyright sez 1986,
but as far as I know, it's still the definitive work.
