A couple more I know little about:
Samsung Contact, formerly HP OpenMail <http://www.samsungcontact.com/en/>
CommuniGate Pro <http://www.stalker.com/cpro/default.html>

Neither are free, but neither are MSExchange, either.  You win some, you lose 
some.

My company is beginning to pursue this question, too.  If you get some hard 
info on how well some of these work, please follow up.  If anyone wants to 
give a talk at ALE on the various options, I think that'd be great.
