[ale] Open Office

I have open office running on a knoppix HD install for my fiance. Trouble
is, she moved her "OpenOffice.org1.0.3" folder from her home dir elsewhere
(there seem to be a lot of things on knoppix that should be . files that
aren't!). Anyway, I removed the dir altogether 'cause things were getting
screwy and when I did OpenOffice setup everything's in German.  Google
ain't helping. any ideas?
