A smattering of Perl and a liberal dose of the convert command followed
by a dollop of Perl/CGI to output nice html.

The headache happens when the original images are all different sizes
and you want to keep the proportions fixed and out put the same size
thumbnail. That requires some cropping effort with some assumptions made
about the location of principle subjects.
