[ale] iptables logging going to ttyx

I've got a Debian box running here and I've got a set of iptables rules
that execute a boot.  Since I did that, logging messages for eth0 keep
getting dumped to the console (IN-eth0 OUT= MAC=ff:ff:ff etc).  How can
I suppress this logging (I don't think I want it written to disk unless
it's a length-limited log)
