Those cheapo cameras without any screen to see what you've just taken a 
picture of, that are sold at Walmart, will show up as a USB mass storage 
device under SuSE 8.1.  So, maybe you can get to the pictures that way.  
They are able to act as a video camera as well.  What distro will you 
try to access it with?  You might need to download the latest modules 
for USB and Video for Linux.
