[ale] Update on my attempts with a PC Server 704.

I would try Suse, then Debian, then FreeBSD, then OpenBSD (only works in
single processor mode though), then NetBSD.  If NetBSD fails, then I would
try Windows 2k Pro, as you basically have exhausted all of the systems that
I know about.
