Hello again, all!

Well, I managed to get the drives working, and an install worked, but I ran into
the GRUB memory detection error. So another install and choosing LILO managed
to get a working install.

However, the monitor detection can't find my monitor type (IBM G72). I choose
IBM G70, and boot - I see the text stuff, dmesg type stuff, and then black screen.

I'm assuming some X problem, or a bad monitor specification. I'll try a low-res
setup (640x480) tonight just to see if it's one of those things. The video
chipset ia nVidia - anyone know of problems of this nature for that set?

TIA,
