Thank you. So we agree that "save the bandwidth" is more "symbolic" than 
necessary.

Thank you for this information. I have not read a etiquette manual on email 
lists (although most of it is "common sense").

It is ironic that someone posted that we should "save bandwidth" (especially 
since the post is prone to more discussion/bandwidth use). From this day 
forth, bandwidth is not an "endangered species" and does not need to be 
saved. However, as we have seen today - "being polite" is.
