Thanks. Since I run an very secure LANphysical (it's in my home, behind
a firewall), I'm not worried about security concerns most of the time.
However, there are two cases I'd be interested in "solving".
1) Is there a way to use XDMCP (I use X -query) when I start my
xterminal, such that it uses SSH for maximum security.
2) When I'm not at home, I can get to my home systems by using ssh to
the firewall, and then ssh from their to a behind the firewall system.
I don't suppose there's any good way (as in, without opening a complete
hole in the firewall) to be able to run X apps on a system behind the
firewall, with an X display that's "out in the public world (but may
itself, be behind a firewall).
Thanks for all the help.
