But you suggest that you assisted your neighbor by securing her AP:

   DN: "She got REAL scared when I started asking her if it was
        secure... It's since been secured."

And then you say they are a benefit:

   DN: "pulled in a parking lot and checked my e-mail courtesy of
        an open AP."

Why would you secure your neighbor's AP if open APs are such a benefit?

Again, strange.
