I've used mgetty and sendfax on both SuSE and Mandrake, reliably for 
work for the past 5 years.  I'm sure they're both available for RH.  If 
you want to go that route, let me know and I'll provide the specifics on 
the setup.  By the way, I use the caller id functionality on this line 
to accept/reject calls as well.  It's nice to hear my computer announce 
I've got an incoming fax from the boss, so I can check it out quickly. :)
