[ale] OT: Search engines

Me and another individual got into an argument where I stated that
google was the #1 engine used by ppl in the It world.  Is there anyway
to validate my claims with hard facts. 

I just can't see looking for stuff use yahoo, altavista, and the other
lowly engine.
