Fetchmail can extract mail from pop3 sources.  I was interested in a
method to fetch mail from a web based account like hotmail.  Found this
program and it is awesome

hotwayd -> fetchmail -> spamassasin -> inbox.


Fixed my spam woes over at hotmail.

Though you guys that have hotmail would like to
try it out.  Works like a champ.
