[ale] Agh! Can't download RH ISOs

if that doesn't work, one of the main features of curl is the ability to
send cookie data, so you can fake an 'authorized' connection and download
it with curl if you need to, but wget has always worked for everything
i've needed to download and i don't think it uses a temporary directory.
also, why not just use ftp? i'm pretty sure sunsite would have some
redhat isos, though i'm not a redhat user so i don't know for sure.
