[ale] Machine With Drives @ e,f,g,h: help?

I am assuming that the Promise controller is an add in (meaning that it
is not built onto the mother board). I have seen similar cards that
allowed you to make the add-in controller the primary controller. These
add in controller have there own Bios on board, much like SCSI cards do.
So during boot the bios should try to read from the add-in controller
Primary->Master drive. This may possible require a jumper setting on the
mother board. I am not sure.
