[ale] OT: Evolution - How to delete attachments from messages

Is there a way to delete attachments from saved messages in Evolution? I
like to save attachments to a convenient location then delete, not leave
them attached to the e-mail they came with.

How do other people handle attachments? Do you just leave them attached
to the e-mail message? This was dangerous in the M$/Outlook world, a
good way to lose all your files. Or do you leave them attached to the
e-mail and save them to disk. This seems inefficient, storing the file
twice.
