Should do that fine. You may need ot get an X svr for that windows box,
but I believe the latest GnuCash is SQL-capable, so you should be
golden.

Subject: [ale] GnuCash?
A friend of mine is running a small business and has been using
Quickbooks on one machine at his house. He's thinking of getting a
second copy so he can do the client/server thing. I was going to try
and convert him to GnuCash instead but I don't know if it'll do
something such as a Linux server in the closet and 2 windows PCs or a
Windows PC and Linux PC combo connecting to the server. Does anyone
know if it'll do something similar? Any other suggestions I can set him
up with? I can't just go in and convert everything as this is his
family's only means of income so it'll have to be handled carefully.
