[ale] Testing Ximian...

Someone mentioned Dropline Gnome in the KDE/GNOME thread, so I figured
I'd give it a shot, after they mentioned on their homepage that they had
un-broken ximian evolution (which didn't work when the original slack 9
distro came out).  So I'm back to Ximian, and tweaking the preferences
so'z ALE, and other closed lists, will take my mail- rather than
regurgitating a "waiting for moderator approval" message...
