Chris,
This sounds more like a broken/buggy source file than anything else.
Try downloading the src.tar.gz file and double check the md5sum. Also,
check around the rawhide archives on GaTech's ftp site. There may be an
rpm of this perl module.
Then again, it wouldn't hurt to double your RAM functions either.
