IIRC, you define cover pages with the job and user name by each printer 
queue cups manages.  So configure that printer with that option.  If the 
Windows drivers can download the fonts when printing, or if you can 
import all the fonts the Windows machines use into the Linux server, 
then maybe you can overcome the font problem.  The cups backend driver 
talking directly to the physical printers probably accesses the local 
fonts or will substitute if a font isn't found.  If you want software 
support and an excellent product for print serving then contact 
EasyPrint software.  They wrote CUPs and sell a commercial supported 
version that is fabulous.
