When it comes to wireless, there is a cute little antenna called a
"rhombic". It is simple to make. Two sticks and some wire. It has a
gain of about 18 dbi Don't know the gain of a cantenna. The rhombic is
the best antenna going. The only problem is that it has to be over one
wavelength long. At 40 M (7MHZ) that gets to be very big. At 2-5 MHz,
the size should be practical. Google "rhombic antenna" for more
information.
