Wow, way to teach a man to fish.. I didn't know you could get perl to explain to for you.. Wow, that's gotta be the coolest thing I've learned in a long time.
Thanks as usual Fletch.. <bows to the list god of perl>

F> /:\/[^,\s]*/
$ perl -MYAPE::Regex::Explain -le 'print YAPE::Regex::Explain->new(shift)->explain' ':\/[^,\s]*'
The regular expression:
(?-imsx::\/[^,\s]*)
matches as follows:
NODE EXPLANATION
----------------------------------------------------------------------
(?-imsx: group, but do not capture (case-sensitive)
(with ^ and $ matching normally) (with . not
matching \n) (matching whitespace and #
normally):
----------------------------------------------------------------------
: ':'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
\/ '/'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
[^,\s]* any character except: ',', whitespace (\n,
\r, \t, \f, and " ") (0 or more times
(matching the most amount possible))
----------------------------------------------------------------------
) end of grouping
----------------------------------------------------------------------
