Hah! The Wacom starts at $200. In the interest of being a cheapskate,
I socked a whopping $23 - including shipping - into a JamStudio
tablet (which allegedly will more-or-less work using the Wacom
driver; we'll see):

This "Global Computer Supply" outfit has got some pretty sweet
