[ale] printing to a cups printer?

You probably want 'cupsys' and 'cupsys-client'. Those are the two basic Debian
packages you need to get cups running on a Debian box. You may also want to
consider installing 'cupsomatic-ppd'.

To share my printer I just use samba.
