[ale] printing to a cups printer?

I don't see a debian cupsys-server package. Any idea what the binary
name might be? With a filename that's in the server only I can find
what provides it.
On my desktop how do I tell it to search for the network printers? I
can add printers with the URL syntax but never found a way of listing
what's known.
