Technology Specialist - Mobility & Messaging

Help shape the new "Network Service Provider"
industry! Provide pre-sales technical/architectural
support for large-scale solutions at strategic
telecommunications/wireless carrier enterprise
accounts.  Focus on creating awareness and sales for
the Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition and the Smartphone
2002.  Drive "Mobile Workplace" solutions.  Partner
with Wireless carriers to provide rich services for
end users and corporate knowledge. You will be
responsible for creating, managing, and owning sales
and deployment of end-to-end Microsoft Solutions to
CXO-level and technical architect level customers. 
Partner with sales team to formulate and execute
account strategy and evangelize Microsoft's products,
technologies, and solutions.  Identify customer
requirements and provide feedback into product
development groups.  You will be a technical solution
resource for customers and partners on broad and
complex issues relating to enterprise mobility and
wireless solutions. Position will be based in Atlanta,
GA or Washington, DC area. 40% travel required.


Qualifications:

 Strong technical background with 5 + years industry
experience in operations and pre-sales
 Experience in the telecommunications, Internet
Service Provider, and/or Application Service Provider
industries
 Broad and/or in-depth knowledge in the following
Microsoft BackOffice products: Windows 2000, Mobile
Information Server, Active Directory, Internet
Information Server, and Exchange 2000
 Experience in managing UNIX platforms (Solaris,
LINUX) is highly desired 
 BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related
technical discipline
 MSCE+I preferred
