The last APC UPS I bought for a client came with a CD that had Linux
drivers and an X/gui control panel. The biggest headache with APC is the
weird serial (NOT!) cable they use. Be sure to only use their cable and
it works great. There is also an open source ups package that can
control APC hardware as well. Check out freshmeat.net for the list.
