[ale] Cannot install Linux on new PC

Dude! This is going to sound *weird* but I had the same problem. I have never
been able to install RedHat 7.3 on ANY Maxtor drive to date - regardless of
the other hardware. Tried the install with 3 other MBs and removed all other
hardware (including changing the video card). Before you ditch your MB - try
putting a Western Digital or Fuji drive in (or any other drive).
