I am using ATI TV-Wonder card with absolutely no problems. Set the card
up as follows:




modules.conf 

alias char-major-89 i2c-core
alias char-major-90 i2c-algo-bit
options i2c-core i2c_debug=1
options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=1
options bttv pll=1 radio=0 card=63 tuner=2 gbuffers=4
options tuner type=2


Load the following modules at boot time: 

# TV card support.
insmod videodev
insmod i2c-core
insmod i2c-algo-bit
insmod bttv
insmod msp3400
insmod tvaudio
insmod i2c-proc
