[ale] Transition to OpenOffice / Dumb salespeople rant!!! OT

I am very happy since I just opened a Word 2000 document from my boss 
that had chemical structure objects inserted with no problem.  Also, I 
ran a spell checker on OO and saved back out in Word 2000 format.  I 
just checked the file and it had no problems with the chemical objects. 
 So a victory for OO and me!!  Of course I am on Linux and don't use 
Windows anymore.
