[ale] Wierd Linux Problem

We had a Acer server here with exactly the same problem and it turned out 
that the motherboard was fried.
At first, we changed the memory and it let us bring the system up but would 
crash again in 2 hours or so.
Sent server to Acer- last month of warranty ! - and it was determined that 
the motherboard was fried.
You may want to check into it.
