[ale] linux commercial

IBM has had an add campaign featuring Linux for awhile now.  Most of the spots center around a basketball team with average looking guys, with names like "Server" and other things representing corporate e-infrastructure.   Then they have this guy "Linux" who is in fact Detleff Schrimpf, a former NBA basketball player.   Obviously, on a court with a bunch of average joe's he dominates.

And the CEO big wigs who are watching the game, wonder how much he costs, bla bla bla.


"He's cheap"
"But he plays so good?"
"He just loves the game"


IBM has also had a print media add campaign you've probably seen Peace, Love, and Penguin for the last year or so.   They got in trouble actually for doing some graffiti with the Peace, Love, and Penguin at various places, hehe.
