[ale] Printing via Samba

I have a Epson printer and RH 7.3.  I have given up trying to print to
it via Samba.  I 've added it in cups and I've added it in lpd.  It
seems that I can not print to anything that is attached to any windows
machine we have.  I get no error messages.  Just documents that set in a
spool.

Any ideas?  I had no problem in Mandrake.  I'm trying to print to a
printer on Windows XP.  No password or user needed
