Also try www.perldoc.com. This is actually just a web-ified version of the
perl docs, but I've found the perl books are really just these docs on
paper. Try these for starters:

In fact, if you go down the list in the References section, you'll get
explanations of all the major facets of perl programming.

www.cpan.org for all the code you thought you would have to write, but
someone's beat you to it
