"The mouse is your friend." select the offending blot at the end of a
line, delete it ('^w') go to the top of the file (<Home>), do
<ESC>%^y<RTN><RTN>, and at the first match, '!' to hit 'em all (worked for
me ...). Still, 'fromdos' or 'dos2unix' have a lot going for them.
