[ale] evolution received time of ?

I am currently using evolution 1.0.3 and i really like it, but i have
one qualm.  I sort my mail by received time, and a great deal of my
messages come through with a "?" as the received time.  Because of this,
they are automatically placed at the bottom of my list.  It's not like i
am not receiving the messages, but it's still a pain.  Has anyone
figured out a way to remedy this?
