When
you boot up and get to a lilo prompt (assuming you are using
lilo)Â specify a 3 after kernel name like this:

lilo: linux 3

Hi All,
Â
I recently had my monitor die and when I
connected a new one the boot process went ok (redhat 7.2) and when it went to
turn on the graphical login I get a "signal error" message on my new monitor.
I know I have to reconfigure X, but how do I disable able the graphical login
to do this? Many thanks.
Â
