I've got a thinkpad 600E with a 6G drive ans 128MRam and PII 366. Screen
is great, IBM has drivers for the winmodem and I nabbed a DVD drive for
it from ebay for about $50-$60 and can watch The Matrix until the
battery dies under Linux. I got the laptop from Feather Computer on
Jimmy Carter for $580. It came with win98 (eeeww!). The WinDVD demo is
not as feature-rich as I'd like so I dumped it.
