LOL
I have done the opposite.  I have removed something from a
Windows box to test it on a Linux box.  I was able to read
more of the HDD in Linux that I was able to read in Windows

On the contrary, I often boot Win boxes under Tom's to
ensure all the hardware is working properly. When a
Win box starts to flake out, it's good to be able
to confirm that it's not the hardware's fault.
