I've got many books on the subject
1st) Buy Practical C Programming by O'Reiley
2nd) Buy Richard W. Stevens:
Advanced Programming in the Unix Envrionment
TCP/IP Illustrated v1, v2, v3
Unix Network Programming v1, v2
Pick them up on Half.com or Ebay. Stevens books go for an average of
$60 - $80 ea brand new.
#1 will get you through the langage
#2 will get you programming in Unix and having fun
The C Programming Language 2nd ED. it good too.
