What about something like jobs.perl.org? I am not aware
of anything like that on the non-perl side. (If there is,
somebody please correct me an I'll go sign up tomorrow).

For those not familiar, jobs.perl.org works like this:
employers submit a form to the site. The moderators look
it over, and if the job is "perl enough" (apparently
recruiters will try to stuff almost anything in there)
the job is mailed to everyone on the list, as well as being
available from the website. There are plenty of job search
sites out there, but most of them really suck at the simple
task of matching your keywords*. Perhaps a linux job site
where people can submit jobs, and the moderators are
responsible for filling in the "keywords" field themselves.
It would be more work for the moderators, but make for some
very specific, very targeted results.

The only hard part is coming up with a good domain name. I
own quite a few, but none that have anything to do with
"linux."

* For example, a search for "perl" on most job sites will return
jobs that mention the word "perl" on the seventh sentence of
the ninth paragraph, for a job selling refurbished Macintoshes
to Eskimos and requiring you to be fluent in 12 languages. :)
