[ale] Has the IT market bottomed out?

My heart goes out to everybody on the list who is out of work! My
brother in law was out of work for 4 months. They survived but were on
the verge of needing family assistance to make it. He worked part time
moving furniture and odd jobs to make a little money. He got a job at
the end of last month and he is in sales now. How are those out of work
surviving financially? I probably wouldn't make it more than three
months without work. The house payment alone would sink me!
