pmadm -r -p zsmon -s ttyb
if you want to remove it instead of disable it temporarily.

#think it is because XFree86 4.0 version has something not working
#properly with admintool. go back to 3.3.6 should be fine. this is from
#experience on a desktop Linux machine though.
#
#com2 getty is controlled by file /etc/saf/zsmon/_pmtab (the second line,
#which started with 'ttyb'.) I believe the following should do it:
#pmadm -d -p zsmon -s ttyb

##Does Solaris still use "ToolTalk"? I think that is the name of their
##underlying technology to let their various CDE things communicate. In
##general, it shouldn't be necessary, but as I recall, if I tried to run
##CDE applications in a non-CDE environment they almost always looked
##bad. Since your linux box doesn't have it I can imagine it causing
##problems for poorly written utilities.
