[ale] Weird DSL problem...

For the "reattach to a running process" part, screen is your friend! In
fact, the latest (Jan 2003) Linux Journal had a great article on the
wonderful uses of screen.

As for the DSL droppings, put some newspaper down and take it out for
walks more often.
