To carry it one step slightly further, is there a source of motherboards
not based on x86 type archetecture with somewhat better power requirements
with respect the standard x86? Rebel computers used to have a strong arm
based machine which maxed out at something like 15 watts, although the
disk was undersized by today's standards, and slow by the standards then.
Something based upon a Transmeta processor would be nice also. I'm not
specifically against some of the embedded boards, but would like the
options of the desktop type.
