[ale] Mandrake can't network

I know it's silly, but have you checked your firewall rules? Does
Mandrake ship with them? This has kicked me in the butt w/RH more than
once...just a thought.

Stick ethereal or tcpdump on both ends and see if anything's getting
through, or trying.
Bad cable? Or did you say that you got it to work with another distro?
