[ale] Gnome+Sawfish+OpenOffice = blech

When running OpenOffice 1.0.1 under Gnome/Sawfish, I can't access
any of the menus. When I click a menu it pops down and immediately
disappears again; that happens even if I hold the mouse button
down. Changing to Enlightenment as the WM fixes that, but I really
prefer Sawfish. Has anyone seen this problem and know a fix?
